No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again!

In their conversation, Jesus told Nicodemus, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3 : 3

So, Jesus is essentially telling us through this verse that no matter how good we are or what we do, we won't get into God's kingdom if we are not born again. You have to be born again to be saved from eternal punishment in Hell. It's that simple, and that serious. It is therefore essential that you establish whether you are truly a born-again Christian. Your salvation depends on it.

Being born again and saved means you have put your trust in Jesus Christ, whom the Bible identifies as the Savior of the world, the Son of God, to save you from eternal punishment in Hell after you die.

Being born again means being part of God’s Kingdom—which is, in other biblical passages, referred to as the family of God. So those “born again” are actually born into God’s SPIRITUAL FAMILY. Why would Christ use the word “born” if it didn’t compare to physical birth?
The conversion process is not just a shallow emotional decision. It requires that a person repent of his or her sins, be baptized in water, receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit of God.”

The phrase "born again" literally means "born from above." Nicodemus had a real need. He needed a change of his heart—a spiritual transformation. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3 : 5;1 John 3: 9; 4 : 7;5 : 1-4). John 1 : 12-13 indicates that being "born again" also carries the idea of "becoming children of God" through trust in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is saying that to be born again is to be saved. Notice that Jesus said without being born again we cannot see or enter the kingdom of God. In other words, we cannot be saved.

Being born again is the plan of salvation that Jesus authored in Golgotha. It is imperative that we understand what is required for us to be born again!

On the day of Pentecost when Peter preached the first message after Golgotha, the men cried out, “What must we do? “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). Peter was giving them the plan of salvation: «Repentance», «Baptism», and the «Infilling of the Holy Spirit». If being born again is to be saved, Peter was evidently talking to them about being saved.

We see then that being born again means to spiritually die—repent; symbolically be buried—baptism; and spiritually rise again—receive the Holy Ghost. Thus, in plain language an individual must repent of his sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by immersion, and receive the gift of the Holy Spiri

God never forces anyone to accept Jesus as their Savior. He simply offers a warm invitation to anyone who wants to have their sins forgiven and go to Heaven. Salvation is a free gift (Romans 5:15; 6: 23), paid for by the precious blood of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:18,19; Revelation 1:5).

How can I get born again?

The Bible says to repent (Luke 13:5). That means to be sorry for, and to turn away from, sinful habits.

The King James Bible says: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ».. »for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:9-13).

Born-again Christians are just people like you and me who have said and confessed  with their mouth that they are now making Jesus Christ the Lord of their life. They also genuinely believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. According to the Bible, they are then saved.

Would you like to be born again? What type of prayer have you do to be born again? You can just place your faith in Jesus Christ right now. There is no special prayer or ritual you must do to be saved. Something along the lines of what follows is enough — but make it personal by using your own words. It's not the words that save you, but your trust in Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can save you! However, the following prayer might be a helpful way to ask God for His free gift of salvation:

"Dear God, I realize I am a sinner who needs forgiveness. I could never reach heaven by my own good deeds. I need your salvation. I am spiritually dead apart from you and I need to be born again in you. So right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son who died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me all my sins and help me to live for you.
I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and I receive Jesus into my life as my personal Savior I am willing, by God's grace, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my life.” Thank you for accepting me into your family and giving me eternal life. AMEN!

When you receive Jesus in you live, you receive the power and authority to become a child of God. You are now a disciple of Jesus and He will guide you on the path of life to the Father. Listen to and follow Him ! «My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand». (John 10: 27-28)

What next?

If you have decided to become a born-again Christian and have received Jesus Christ as your Savior by praying something similar to the prayer above, proclaim your faith in Jesus right now by letting someone (another Christian) know you are now saved.

**Get a Bible and read it to get to know Jesus Christ better. The Gospel according to John in the New     Testament is a good place to start.
**Talk to God in prayer every day.
**Tell others about Christ.
**Join a Bible-believing church and get baptized, Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church that truly believes the Bible and the sound doctrine.

The salvation process will culminate at the resurrection with the Christian's full arrival into the glorious Kingdom of God as a fully glorified, Spirit-born son of God. Truly, God is "bringing many sons to glory" (Hebrews 2:10).

Will you be one of them? ----If so, you must be "born again"! May the Lord greatly bless your new live in Christ.  (Read the Bible)
